Biography of Parisa Nami
Parisa Nami, born on August 29, 1988, in Ardabil, is a renowned Iranian sculptor. She works as a university lecturer and an artistic consultant for city beautification commissions, as well as executing contemporary art projects in Iran. She is known for pioneering a modern, innovative style of sculpture that combines elements with the aim of supporting the environment and presenting a fresh conceptual perspective. Her unique approach offers a different outlook on the beauty and significance of the natural world. Her works were first showcased in Turkey and gained international recognition
Parisa Nami showed an interest in painting from her primary school days, and in 2005/2006, after completing her elementary education, she embarked on a journey into sculpture. In 2011/2012, Nami obtained her Bachelor's degree in Handicrafts from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mazandaran University. She then continued her studies at the Master's level at the University of Art in Tabriz
Prior to her university education, she actively participated in art exhibitions and various artistic spaces. After completing her Master's degree, she returned to her hometown and established a technical and vocational art education institute. Parisa Nami simultaneously engaged in university teaching, city beautification projects, and ran her personal studio. With a passion for creating volumetric sculptures, she began producing new volumetric art pieces, which were first showcased in Turkey and received acclaim at prestigious international exhibitions
Her dedication and talent led to an invitation to pursue a doctoral degree while actively participating in contemporary art exhibitions and events during her doctoral studies
